D&D 5E Swift Quiver for throwing daggers

I've found posts out the wazoo about making a throwing dagger build. In my opinion, someone who can throw more than two daggers a turn wouldn't be game breaking. It's like having a bow that you could make some weak melee attacks with, and have a terrible range. But it seems pretty clear that they made the build almost impossible.

A solution that I propose is something home-brewed. Make another version of the swift quiver spell.

Swift Dagger Belt (yeah it's a bad name, I know.)

Allows two daggers to fly to your hands after taking the attack action, and further allows you to throw both of those daggers as a bonus action. Only Rangers or Bards could do it, but they are the only ones who can fire 4 arrows with only one Extra Attack.

With Extra Attack, you will be able to throw 4 daggers using an Action and Bonus Action per turn.

What say you? Game Breaking?

I say this: why not just be lenient enough with rules interpretation that thrown weapons can be drawn like ammunition so you always get your normal amount of attacks in an attack action with them?

Seems easier than all alternatives.

Not sure why you say it's impossible. Vax on Critical Role is always making triple dagger attacks.

I'm with AoB on this. Why bother with funky magic items when you can just say drawing a thrown weapon is no different than drawing ammunition. If you have 3 attacks, go for it.

Well, I think a lot of that gets handwaved. Unless I want to explicitly invoke that rule, I assume that a character has weapons out in dangerous environs. Much like the casting components rules. It only matters if you make it matter.

I'm of two minds about this.

First of all, I don't think that making a new item is really needed, simply a house-rule. "You may draw and throw as many thrown weapons as you have attacks. This counts as your object interaction for the round." The downside to doing this is that you would probably have no weapon for Opportunity Attacks. The only reason to consider the magic item over this is balance (see below).

For balance... I don't know. This specific example wouldn't be a problem (daggers are crappy ranged weapons compared to bows), but it could become more of an issue with other weapons. I have a Polearm Great Weapon Fighter in my party, and his big downside is ranged combat. If he could draw and throw 2 javelins a round, he would start to overshadow the elf archer (especially since he could "hold" his polearm in his off hand while making the attacks, then use the weapon for opportunity attacks).

Here's my houserule:

When you take the Attack action and make a ranged attack with a dagger and take no movement on your turn, you can use your reaction to make one additional ranged attack with a different dagger that you’re holding at your initiative minus 10. You can’t use this reaction if a hostile creature that can see you and isn’t incapacitated is within 5 feet of you.
