Stats for a Military Fork?

Hmmm, so I've been working on a character for the new Aquerra game that my friend Sean is going to be running starting this Sunday - and in my mind I envisioned him using a military fork - but when I got to doing the unimportant stuff like actually writing down his stats and skills and feats and equipment - I realized there is no military fork listed in the Player's Handbook.

Anyone have stats for this weapon? Any of the newer books or third party supplements include stats for such a weapon?

Help a brother out. . .

Tell him to use a civilian fork like everyone else!

The gnome made me do it! The gnomarfa qweqrtaoi goaisj ....

2e AD&D had these stats for it (I know that some stats are obselete)

Cost (lb.) Size Type6 Factor S-M L
5 gp 7 L P 7 1d8 2d4

A little heavier on damage to s/m foes and a little lighter on large foes than the trident.

Arms & Armour
War Fork size large 20 gp 1d12 damage, 19-20/x2 weight 15 lb. type P and S reach 5 ft.

The war fork is a short polearm with two broad parallel sword blades affixed to the end. These blades can be used for stabbing, or they can be swung like an axe. The war fork has a five foot reach. If readied against charging opponents, it deals double damage.

Is this what you are looking for?

Yes, thank you. . .

Though I think it should be piercing only if it looks anything like the military folks I have seen pictures of.

The war fork picture shown looks like a staff w/ two sword blades attached like so

not exact, but the best i can do w/ a keyboard. its got two blades, each facing outward, tapering to a point, wich a gap between them, making it a fork. I can see how it would be slashing this way. Essentially just a wierd axe w/ large blades that taper to points so you can thrust with it.

Gary Gygax's World Builder has these stats for "Fork, military (bident)":

Large, 20 gp, 1d10 damage, critical x3, range increment 10 ft., weight 7 lbs, piercing. Double damage if set against charging opponents. 10 ft. long or longer, can't be used against adjacent opponents.

Edit: The points on this are just tines.

Hey, folks. Come on, this is the new millenium. We have the "Army of One". I wanna see stats fo rthe military spork. :D

For the Military Spork, I'd suggest combining the Military Fork and the Bohemian Ear-Spoon (Partizan).

Going by GGWB again, I'd use the stats above but eliminate its reach and give it +1 to AC against melee weapons when taking a full round action to fight defensively.
