Spells on index cards...

I've done my own for often used spells. I created a word template that fits 4x6" index cards, and then cut & pasted from the SRD to the index cards. Works real well and doesn't take up a whole bunch of time.

That's what I was planning... and I was going to do it with common NPC stats, too.

But, hey... Why do the work if it's already done? I've got to clean the house before the gaming group shows up!

Haven't done it with NPC stats yet. I still like using full size sheets for that. But I have done it with Monsters. I have an index card box (actually 2, one for monster cards, one for spell cards) that has a bunch of monster stats on 4x6 cards, with all the important stats and special attacks & special qualities. I also like to use cardboard counters (in addition to miniatures) and keep the counters for a particular monster in an envelope that is stapled to its respective monster card.

I have a full set, and all on .pdf as well... homemade, and distributed freely until I got a (very polite) cease & desist from Wizards. I've been thinking lately about making new sets for monster and NPCs (levels 1-20 for each class).

Thanks anyway, Doc.

Your pictures look almost exactly like the card format I'm working up.

Why the problem with WotC? Aren't these spells OGC, even if they weren't yet "officially" released?

That's right. Read the rest of my above post, dood.
It would be great if we could leach off your hard work though, wouldn't it :D? When exactly did you do those cards? (as in pre or post 'spells are released in to the OGC')

I mean, Frig! They are on the Web!
