Spellcasting in Wild Shape

Dark Psion

First Post
In Masters of the Wild, there is a new feat; Natural Spell: You cast spells while in Wild Shape. Does this feat work with ALL spellcasting classes? If you have a Druid/Sorcerer, can he cast Arcane magic while in Wild Shape?

I would have to agree with Crothain's reading of the feat. It should work with any spell casting class.

If you're a multi-class character with the Wildshape ability then you can take this feat and cast all spells while shape changed. However pure Sorcerers, Wizards, or Bards can't take this feat.

Natural Spell [Wild]
You cast spells while in a wild Shape.

Wild Feats
The feats in this new category relate to the wild Shape ability, and all require it as a prerequisite . Any class feature or ability that has the words "wild Shape" in its name (such as
lesser wild Shape, greater wild shape, and undead wild shape; see Chapter 5) counts as wild Shape for meeting prerequisites. Wild feats apply to any version of wild Shape.

Why would they even want to....

Also unlike Druid spells they have a lot of different materials needed. For Druid spells a bit of Misletoe and you're set, for a sorcery you'd need some amber and fur, a bit of bat guano and some sulfer, and so on....

Sor/Wizzies can change into shapes with humanlike voices and hands. They have less need for a special feat in order to spellcast while polymorphed. The feat is excellent for druids, however, allowing (such as in my party) spellcasting rhinos, for instance.
