Spell-like abilities and armor spell failure %

Does wearing armor subject a creature with a Spell-like abliity to the Spell Failure chance?

The specific example I have in mind is a Kaorti, dressed in its Resin Armor, attempting its Color Spray ability (Sp). I've looked in the DMG and at the SRD online, and I can't find any reference to it one way or the other. Is it safe to assume that since it isn't mentioned, Sp's aren't subject to Spell Failure?

Whaddya think?

From the Monster Manual: "Spell-like abilities are magical and work just like spells (though they are not spell and so have no verbal, somatic, material, focus, or XP components).

From the Players Handbook: "If the spell lacks a somatic component, however, it can be cast with no chance of arcane spell failure."

So, even if they were actually spells, they would not be subject to the spell failure chance since they have no somatic component.

Nope. Spell-like abilities do not suffer from arcane spell failure.

Spell-like abilities are neither spells, nor do they have a somatic component for armor to interfere with.

Edit: Beaten to it.

Although, warlock invocations do have a somatic component (as an exception to the normal rules for SLA) and are subject to ASF.
