D&D 3E/3.5 So, there is no "Sizing" property for Armor in official 3.5e rules?

"Sizing" property for magic weapon is first introduced in Arms and Equipment Guide and then re-introduced in Magic Item Compendium. But how about armor?

Is there similar property for Armor in any official book? Or should I make up some house rule for giving a size-adjustable armor to PCs as a treasure?

It will not a big deal to make a DM-made magic item like that. But before stepping into that area, I there already be an official version.

I've never found one. I made this spell available:

Tailor Magic Arms or Armor
Transmutation
Level: Cleric 3, Sor/Wiz 3
Components: V,S,M
Casting Time: 1 hour
Range: Touch
Target: Unattended magic weapon or magic suit of armor touched
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: No
Spell Resistance: Yes (object)

This spell changes the size of a single unattended magic weapon or magic suit of armor. It changes the size of the object one category, up or down, as the caster desires. It does not change any other properties of the object.

The spell requires a certain amount of costly oils and magical ingredients. The base cost for material components is one-tenth the base enchantment cost of the object. E.g., a +2 keen flaming dagger has a base cost to enchant of 32,000 gp, so this spell would consume a base of 3,200 gp in magical ingredients.

If the object is formed of costly materials, and the caster is increasing the size, the caster must also pay any difference in the cost of special materials. Conversely, if the caster is shrinking the object, he may apply the difference against the base material cost.

Arcane Material Component: See text

Page 105 of the orginal 3ed "Player's Handbook" has the following:

ARMOR FOR UNUSUAL CREATURES
The information on Table 7-5: Armor is for medium-size creatures. Armor for tiny or smaller creatures costs half as much as that for Medium-size creatures (provided you can find an armorsmith who can even make it), provides half as much protection, and weighs one-tenth or less as much. Armor for Large characters cost double and weighs twice as much, and for Huge creatures it cost quadruple and weighs five times as much. Armor for even larger creatures must be specially made and has no standard price or weight.
Armor for nonhumanoid creature costs twice as much as the same armor for a humanoid.

I hope this helps.

I'm pretty sure the rules for pricing and armor bonus multipliers/dividers based on size are limited to the non-magical costs (not to mention masterwork costs, which AFAIK are the same for anything) and bonus, not the enhancement part. At least, I hope that's the case and would never enforce that rule if it were not...

I don't know about a sizing armor, but you could modify the wild armor, since it actually changes size when a druid uses wild shape

If i am interpreting your question correctly (and i could be wrong) you want to know about resizing armor.

From Pg. 213 of the DM's Guide:

When an article of magic clothing or jewelry is discovered, most
of the time size shouldn’t be an issue. Many magic garments are
made to be easily adjustable, or they adjust themselves magically
to the wearer
. As a rule, size should not keep overweight characters,
characters of various genders, or characters of various kinds
from using magic items. Players shouldn’t be penalized for choosing
a halfling character or deciding that their character is especially tall.

Only say “It doesn’t fit” if there’s a good reason. Cloaks made
specifically by the selfish, self-absorbed drow elves might fit only
elves. Dwarves might make items usable only by dwarf-sized and
dwarf-shaped characters to keep their items from being used
against them. Such items should be the exceptions, however, not
the rule.

That is not my intention. I know the default rule. There is another paragraph "Armor and Weapon Sizes" just below those texts. Armor and Weapons do not automatically change their size.

"Sizing" is a magic weapon ability first introduced in 3.0e Arms and Equipment Guide and then revised in 3.5e Magic Item Compendium. A weapon with that ability changes it's size by command of the wielder. But there is no similar magic armor ability in the same book.

So, I was wondering if there are some other books which introduces similar magic ability for armor. And it seems that there is non, at least no official books.
