Serpent demons (other than marilith)?

Does anyone know about and/or have a list of different serpent demons for d20 or 2e Planescape (not counting the marilith)?

Any and all sources are fine.

(I'm looking to use something in place of the "Abhir" from the adventure "The Pyramid of Jenkel" in Dungeon #23, and I'm unsure if I want to convert the Abhir. It's too close to the marilith except for HD, and I'm looking for something much lower in CR.)

Can't think of actual demons, but you could use nagas (or half-fiendish ones). Serpent Kingdoms also has a couple of other serpent creatures.

You could create a Savage Species class progression for the Marilith and then throw a lower powered one at your players.

There are several things you can do here. In the Fiend Folio, there are two aquatic serpent-like demons, the skulvn and wastrilith.

Templates might be a good way to go. Like Kaeyoss mentioned above, you could add the half-fiend or fiendish templates to a reptillian monster. like nagas. If you wanted to get the closest approximation to a tanarri, you could add a half-fiend template to a blue dragon of the CR you want and add telepathy 100 ft. Another option is to add the Abyssal Dragon template (from Green Ronin's Book of Fiends) to any dragon, as this template gives the base dragon demon traits.

Indeed, adding the half-fiend template to a naga (or an abomination yuan-ti) was my fall-back option if nothing better came up.

That looks like a good route to go. Thanks, guys!

Oh yeah, and the web enhancement to book of fiends by Green Ronin has a demonic template to make fiendish more plane specific. Slap that on some constrictors and go.

IIRC, There's one in the Tome of Horrors 2. Even said to be a cousin of the Marilith. There's also a few snake demons (or snake devils, don't remember) in the Creature Collections -- I'd say CC2.

And my fav, of course, the Savant Hydra in CC1. It's one of the reason I do not regret buying that book, no matter how crappy 1/3 of the art and 1/2 of the mechanics were.
