"Seeking" weapon enhancement

Thurbane

First Post
As per the SRD:

Only ranged weapons can have the seeking ability. The weapon veers toward its target, negating any miss chances that would otherwise apply, such as from concealment. (The wielder still has to aim the weapon at the right square. Arrows mistakenly shot into an empty space, for example, do not veer and hit invisible enemies, even if they are nearby.)
Just to make sure I understand this ability correctly, does this mean that the weapon bypasses the miss chance for spells such as Darkness, Blur, Invisibility and Displacement?

I'm assuming the answer is yes...

just how awsome is this? do you mean I dont even have to roll to hit? cause that would be awsome... I need something that minimizes the chance for me have to roll dice... dice hate me...

Blink gives a miss chance, because there is a chance the opponent will not be on the material plane at the time the arrow strikes... Hence.. how can it hit? can't it to circle and look for the nearest Airport?

You sure it works vs invisibility...? How can you deliberately target someone you cannot see? And if you CAN see him, then there's no miss chance because of invisibility... ?

It was errata'd somewhere to not include plane-hopping abilities/spells etc.

The way it's worded it should also work on incorporeal creatures. Yay for errata!

Used this on a bow in a lvl 18 ftr v wiz duel. After a couple rounds, the wizzy cast Blindness on me, but didn't move. I declared that I would target his last known position, full attacked with haste, got 5 hits and won that round. As written, it only effects miss chance due to concealment, NOT due to plane hopping, ethereality, etc. I had ghost touch on the bow for that :)
