Savage Attacker Feat and Critical Strikes?

Suppose we have a Barbarian with a greataxe. Suppose he is level 4 and has the savage attacker feat.

1. If he scores a critical does he reroll a single d12 or both d12's including the one from the critical hit?
2. If he is a HalfOrc and get's to roll an additional d12 on a critical hit does he get to reroll 1d12 or 2d12 or 3d12?

Extra dice from a crit or other ability are part of the damage dice for the attack. So you would reroll them.

The wording of the feat is that you may "reroll the weapon's damage dice". That leaves room for a ruling on what is included in "weapon's damage dice". I would probably rule that includes all the dice in each of your two examples. I'm a little more dubious about sneak attack dice - could go either way. In any case, it is probably worth noting that IMO it is clear that you have to reroll all the dice, not just selected ones.

FWIW, the place I looked up the feat just said to reroll the damage dice. If it really says weapon damage dice then I agree with you. My phb is awol at the moment so I can’t check.
