I searched the forum, but couldn't find the exact answer I was looking for. Do similar penalties for different conditions stack? I have read that conditions generally stack and I know that bonuses of the same type do not (only the greater bonus counts). Is the same true for penalties?
For example if, as an Antipaladin, I use Touch of Corruption and induce Sickness in a character, and them follow that up next round with Demoralize (causes Shaken), does the -2 to attack rolls penalty go up to -4?
Does it matter that Shaken is a fear effect and Sickened is not (similar to how you can stack dodge and deflection bonuses to AC since they are not of the same type)?
My gut tells me that they likely do not stack, but I don't want to sell myself short. Thanks.
