Rules for Half drow characters

Just wondering if anyone has seen rules for a half drow race for charaters. It kinda popped into my head this morning that I've never seen anything for this situation. Sure there are half orcs and half elves, but drow have a much different set of abilities from regular elves. Any ideas?

Im pretty sure they are the same as Half-Elves, but have darkvision instead of low light vision...at least thats how they are in Forgotten Realms. There may be other small differences, but I dont have my books handy right now to confirm.

Simply Half Elves with Darkvision 60. They don't get any other special drow abilities.

Actually, per the MM, half-drow have all the regular stats for half-elves (including low-light vision), but with dusky skin and light hair.

Yeah, the FRCS says that, as stated above, half-drow are half-elves with darkvision 60ft instead of low-light vision.

There's a half-drow template in Green Ronin's Advanced Bestiary. Not sure how good it is but worth checking out - particularly as you can apply it to other races as well as humans.

Abilities and Racial Features

Half-drow have all the half-elven racial traits listed in the players ahndbook except as follows:

• Darkvision up to 60 feet.
• Drow Blood. For all special abilities and effects, a half-drow is considered a drow.

So, as you can well see, they are pretty much a half-elf with darkvision.

You can probably google up the drow racial class they presented online a year or so ago. One level of that should do the trick.

Or actually no levels at all. The drow Savage Progression (done by Sean K Reynolds for the WotC site feature) gave a LA +0 starting package for drow, and two levels where you got only the extra stuff, bringing your character to its LA +2 form. A half-drow could be done just by taking the starting racial traits, and none of the extra two levels.
