First Post
I apologize if this topic has been covered already, but I was curious about this & thought this would be one of the best places to ask this ?.

1st Edition Classes from Dragon that I remember:

1) Bandit
2) Mariner
3) Sentinel
4) Archer
5) Alchemist**
6) Witch*
7) Merchant**
8) Blacksmith**
9) Duelist

*This class was not intended for PC's because it was too powerful.
**This class was not really intended for PC's because it lacked a combat focus.

There were barbarian and monk classes in 2e? Must have happened after I moved on to other games.

I seem to recall a 1e psionicist class from Dragon. The 2e psionics class was also called psionicist, not psion (which is the 3e & 4e name of the class).

2e Dark Sun had gladiator, templar, and defiler classes.

I also remember a geisha and a sumo wrestler class from 1e Dragon.

Didn't 1e also have a Necromancer via Dragon mag., intended as an NPC class?

There were also, if memory serves, both in Dragon and elsewhere a few attempts to design a Shaman (NPC-only?) class - none of which were much good.
