D&D 5E Quiver of Enchantment (Homebrew)

This item appears as a beautifully-crafted but otherwise normal quiver designed to hold 30 arrows. Any normal arrow placed in the quiver becomes a +1 magical arrow. Any magical arrow placed inside it remains unchanged. Cost: 1200 gp. What do you think? Too powerful? To expensive? Not expensive enough?

How long does the enchantment last? Can you just place 30 normal arrows in it, then hand them out to other ranged party members - or sell them?

If the effect doesn't last, and it's basically granting the user the ability to fire +1 arrows, it's functionally equivalent to a +1 bow.

Maybe consider jazzing it up a bit - instead of being +1, the arrows become infused with elemental energy, dealing an additional 1d6 energy damage. The wearer can switch the damage type by speaking a command word as a bonus action, between Fire, Cold, Lightning and Acid.

I wouldn't make things just a +1. I would go with elemental damage as well. A Quiver of Fire and Ice, or Quiver of Thunder and Lightning is more cool than +1. The +1 to hit is worth more in 5e because of the scaling. The +1d6 damage is less game changing to me. This is especially true when you add a 20 dex to a +1bow already.

Quiver of Fire and Ice: rare; cost 5,000gp; This magical quiver allows the used to freely pull out arrows with flaming heads that deal +1d6 fire damage. The fire extinguishes once it hits a target. The used had disadvantage to stealth checks when using the quiver. If attuned, the used can also pull out ice arrows that deal +1d6 cold damage. Additionally, when attuned the flaming or ice property forms while the arrow is in mid-air negating the disadvantage to stealth.

Something similar to other elemental types, or even monster types like bane vs. goblinoids where it deals +1d6 (but I would make these cost less)
