I'm planning a playtest of some rule ideas, and so I need shallow, one-dimensional characters that the players can instantly pick-up and get the concept of without having to work out what that character is meant to do from the actually ability descriptions.
So I thought some pun names based on famous characters would set the scene well. Here are some I've come up with:
Brandalf the Beige (sort of Wizard/Cleric)
Singood the Saviour (a nautical paladin)
Alison van de Lant (wizard with reality altering powers)
Jock the Giant Fencer (big guy with a sword)
Any others? I've got a Conan expy rolled up, emphasis on the rogue side, who desperately needs a name. The names can be as groan-inducing as you like, as long as they describe a character concept. FYI the rule variations I've got are all based on gestalt characters (i.e. everyone is multiclassed).
