D&D 3E/3.5 Potion Holders 3.5e

Volomon

First Post
Ok some where I saw this or I must be crazy. There was a picture of a device that was basically a forearm piece it held 3-4 potions, they were displayed upside down so that way when you went to remove the cork with your mouth the gravity would allow you to drink it. Essentially a hands free retrieve and drink. I'm unsure how this affect the whole Retrieve item and Drink Potion aspect. If I remember though both of these were considered minor actions/free (of course naturally still limiting the amount of potions you can drink to one). There was also a natural drawback anytime a AOO was trigger there would a percent chance he'd nail your potions destroying them. I have no idea how close I am to the actual description as this could have been years upon years ago.

In my house rules a successful AOO always destroys a potion that is attempting to be used.

Does anyone have any clue where I seen this item.

The FRCS has a masterwork potion belt. If I recall it holds 8 or 10 potions and retrieving one is a free action.

Ya I've heard of that one, but I'm mind boggled on where I saw this forearm contraption and it's driving me bonkers trying to figure it out. I'm currently using the Eberron campaign, maybe it's something from that, that I don't quite remember.

Looks like Sharn: City of Towers has an item called the potion bracer. That sounds a little more like what you were looking for.
