I voted for #3. Why? Simple. The feat sucked so bad that the R&D guys at WotC had to create a new one, Improved Dirty Fighting, and release it in the D&D FAQ to make up for the lackluster and worthless at mid to high level original one.

It really only seems useful in a short-term, low-level campaign. Other than that I don't see much point in wasting a feat.

I gave it a 3 because some rogues or clerics might find it fairly useful (before they gety multiple attacks), even if it is worthless in the long run.

Yup. At low levels, when you only get 1 attack anyway, it's pretty cool. After that, you need Improved Dirty Fighting to keep getting any use from it, though you already had to burn the feat slot on the original, which sucks.

If you are a dramatist, looking to add a cool tid-bit to your character, then I find the feat ot be very cool, and above average (which is what I voted). I find it to be a nice little kicker, especially as a player describes exactly where the added damage came from.

If you are a gamist, looking to squeeze every drop of efficiency out of a character, then it sucks. I would not recomend wasting the feat on this minor, low-level ability.

It's an NPC feat, don't let a PC touch it with a 10' pole. Unless you're just doing a one shot and don't plan to progress to the levels at which it is useless (ie, as soon as you get 2 attacks per round).

I am the only "average" up to now.

Doesn't look too bad, even if at higher level becomes less useful; but in case of an enemy with a damage reduction you can't beat at the moment, you still rise your chances of inflicting damage. Same when sundering (to beat the hardness).

Ok, it's a very little advantage, but I wouldn't trash it anyway...
