Man, this PHB art is nice.

Most interesting new tidbit for my money is that rhe multiclassing rules section will have art including aoke of the Subclass iconic characters with a new second subclas, their example being the Vemgence Paladin becoming a multiclass GOO Warlock:

Fun concept art for the Glamour Bars:

And nice images from the "what is an RPG, anyways, kids?" Example play section:

I'm very curious about the species image for the orcs. The others all look very standard with dwarves smithing, elves being fancy, and gnomes making a construct, but then we have orcs out on the frontier. I'm interested to see if the PHB 2024 orc is more divergent in lore than I previously expected.

Very much subject to having been changed, as this was tested two years ago now, but this was the lore we got in UA for PC Orcs:

So, Orcs as rugged pastoralists in Badlands would seem to fit with that.

Eye-crab familiar as being a thing that you can have sitting on your shoulder...

Anyways I think we've seen all of the group pictures for all species except for Dragonborn, Halfling was I think shown way back in the first video, but this time it looks like we've got the group picture for Humans.

Dragonborn were in a video at one point.

They're certainly more "civilized" than they've ever been depicted before.

Personally, I've always (like, since the mid-eighties) portrayed them as generally from a society that has a certain sense of honor, but reveres the strong, and has a tolerance for violence that your average human society struggles to understand. I've always felt that calling anyone "inherently evil" is primarily propaganda. That's how I've played it, anyhow. These orcs won't be all that different to mine, really.
