Questions to those of you who have played Torment:

What was that githzerai's name who followed the Nameless One?

What was his sword called? Are there 3e stats for it?

Where can I find more info on the Gith? 3e or 2e sources. Not counting the Psionics Handbook and Manuel of the Planes.

PST, the book

No, not the eminently forgettable novelisation from Wizards.

For PST fans (and there are many): Rhys Hess has collected nearly all the dialogue in the game, given it a narrative structure and turned it into a book. Lucian Wischik has in turn converted the book into a Word doc and pdf, ready to print out or read on-screen.

His name was "Dak'kon".

His Zerth blade transformed based on level and morale, so an accurate 3E conversion is a little more work than it first appears. For the record, here are it's stats from the game (cut & paste from Dan Simpson's "Planescape Torment Walkthrough") --

Wow. Thanks guys!

I already have the Planescape boxed set and the Dragon articles. Thanks though. If there is anything else, like an ESD, or something, be sure to let me know.

WAAAAHAAAAAY.... sorry blood, had to celebrate as I think I won the Ps3e team race to this thread ;).

Head on over to http://www.ps3e.com/ there is a TON of useful Githzerai (Dakon was a Githzerai, one of the gith races)...

Also, www.planewalker.com has some useful info on it as well... is there anything specific you are looking for? There is a project on the Gith races well developed from the Planewalker team and hopefully we'll see it soon. I'm currently working on some Githzerai Martial art styles that might see some use.

If you need anything more, bump this baby up, or drop me an email and I'd be happy to assist in the search for information on The People.

Edit: I forgot to mention that for Githzerai, etc. additional sources are: PLANESCAPE Campaign Setting by David “Zeb” Cook; Planes of Chaos by Wolfgang Baur and Lester Smith; The Planewalker’s Handbook and A Guide to the Astral Plane by Monte Cook; PLANESCAPE: Torment; the Psionics Handbook, The Illithiad, A Darkness Gathering, Masters of Eternal Night and Dawn of the Overmind by Bruce R. Cordell and the Manual of the Planes by Jeff Grubb, Bruce R. Cordell and David Noonan.
