The press release notes "Jackson will begin work on the film immediately following the release of "The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King," the third and final installment of his blockbuster trilogy based upon the writings of J.R.R. Tolkien."

Beginning work, of course, doesn't mean he won't have a film in-between, but it is surprising to see "immediately following."

I'm less than excited about this. But I'll go see it anyway, cause I like a good popcorn flick.
