Paladin of the CatLord?

That's a pretty interesting idea for a paladin! Maybe your DM will let you have some sort of panther or lion as your special mount. Here's my thoughts about a possible Code of Conduct for such a paladin:

1) Always maintain your pride and dignity. Never allow yourself to become embarassed or humilated.

2) Ignore those who are unworthy of your attention.

3) Wound your foes before you kill them--give them a chance to achieve glory by teaching you something about how to fight.

4) Understand the natural order and your place in it as a preadator.

5) Treat any feline creatures you meet with due respect.

Thinking it over, I'd have to say go back and watch Disney's Aristocats. The tom cat archetype presented there should be dead on with the "cool" factor tempering honor.

Hygene is among your chief priorities.

You are very particular about your meals and your bedding.

You may only wear light armor and must possess dexterity 15 or above (a throwback to the stat requirements of 1e).

You prefer to operate at night; only races possessing low-light vision or dark vision may be paladins of the Catlord.

Stalking and striking one's victim with surprise is not dishonorable.

Possessing levels of rogue (prior to becoming a paladin) shall incur no penalties, such as loss of abilities due to alignment conflict (a chaotic good holy liberator might have been a better choice for the Catlord's servant, but whatever :))

As a paladin of the catlord, you have access to the luck domain and may ultilize the reroll once per day.

Never kill a cat or any catlike creature (displacer beast?) and maybe the catlord will give you a shiny ring!
(ADOM anyone?)

mmm...now wouldn't this be nice in DnD...

[spoily...]

------------- ring of the master cat [+0,+5] {Dx+16} (+16 spd) -------------

Weight: 1s

When worn it modifies DV by +0 and PV by +5.

When used in melee combat it grants a +0 bonus to hit and causes 1d1 points
of damage. When used as a missile it grants a +0 bonus to hit and causes 1d1
points of damage.

It modifies your dexterity attribute by +16.
It is very good at scoring critical hits in melee.
It modifies your speed by +16.
It makes Fate smile upon you.
It grants the ability to see invisible things.

hey, HG...

Check out Unearthed Arcana, it has non "LG" Paladins, each with a unique ability.

Better yet, there's DRAGON Mag. #310, that has a "Paladins of other Alignments" article on pages 47-55. I let one of my players do the NG one, which is called "the Sentinel".

If anything they might give you some rp ideas.
