New Releases

  • Pathfinder Adventure Path #213: Thirst for Blood (Shade of Blood 1 of 3) finds the remote island settlement of Talmandor’s Bounty thrown into chaos as a strange magical effect plunges the region into shadow. The PCs are urged to travel to a nearby island and investigate an ancient prison buried during Earthfall. Inside and ancient Azlanti prison, a cult of the blood god Camazotz thrives, and the PCs soon discover that even greater threats lie deeper within. Can the PCs discover who’s behind the supernatural shadow and stop them before it’s too late?
  • Pathfinder Claws of the Tyrant is an anthology of three interconnected adventures set in the former nation of Lastwall, now known as the Gravelands. The fate of two goddesses hangs in the balance as disgraced graveknight Seldeg Bhedlis prepares a ritual to rewrite history itself. This anthology also includes a collection of monsters, feats, and magic items perfect for any adventure set in the undead-haunted Gravelands.
  • Pathfinder Society Scenario #6-12: The Burning of Greensteeples: Within the heart of Cheliax lays the Pathfinder Society's only stronghold: Greensteeples Manor, home of the illustrious Jeggare line. While handling the scandal of her cousin within the past few years, the queen of Cheliax has learned of the manor's true nature. With tensions rising in the nation, an order has been placed to her two most loyal Hellknight orders to capture any beings within the manor and burn the traitorous home to the ground in the name of Asmodeus. Pathfinders in the area must act swiftly to rescue the innocents within and ensure that what few secrets can be saved are moved to a safer location, lest they fall into the hands of Queen Abrogail!
  • Pathfinder Society Scenario #6-13: All That Glitters: A small earthquake and landslide near the mining operations of Marivit Kopje, a Kalistocrat of minor standing, have opened a vault long thought lost. Shimia Renveld was an oddity even among Kalistocrats. She collected oddities that held no real monetary value, or at least that was what she thought. Marivit believes that her recently uncovered collection might hold a key to helping turn around his fortunes, and he's promised the Pathfinders everything else in the vault in order to get it.
  • Starfinder Society Scenario #7-12: Those Who Call: First Seeker Sarmak’s archaeological survey of the ancient city of Eternity has been interrupted by Those Who Call, a fanatical cult of robotic anacites determined to draw the mysterious First Ones back to the planet Aballon. Under the ruthless leadership of Supreme-Proclaimant, Those Who Call prepare to destroy Aballon’s government and capital city using a devastating weapon reconstructed from ancient First Ones’ technology. After stealing an artifact known as the Eternity Drive from the Starfinder Society during a violent surprise assault, Those Who Call have all they need to fire this weapon, destroy the nearby megaplex of Striving, and dispatch their intergalactic call to the First Ones! Can the Starfinder Society stop Those Who Call?

Not sure about more or less, but it must be something. They have been putting out pocket books for awhile now.

Pocket books are great for table copies, and I have players who can't afford a $60-70 hardcover but can afford a $30 pocket edition, and actually buy them. I bet my table's experience is not unique. And with the current economy and tariffs, I bet cheaper cost rulebooks are going to become even more important.

I'd agree, but at my table they're said to be printed in "eyestrain font."

I get it, totally; I have to keep reading glasses with me these days. My younger players have no problem here though. On the plus side, it might not be immediately obvious, but the font size of the core books is "slightly more readable" in the pocket editions that it was with the 1E books.

Yeah, in the last 5 years I've become very sensitive to eyestrain font.
I always used to pick up the pocket editions of the Paizo books I carried to games, but eyestrain font is now much more of a thing with me so I've backed off doing that which makes me sad. I really liked the size and weight of the pocket editions. Getting old is a drag.
