"Master of Ballantrae" (color, 1950s?): A rip-roarin' adventure begins when a Scottish noble angers the English king and must flee his homeland for a life of danger on the high seas. I really enjoyed this movie.

Also, "Captain Blood" (1930s?) with Eroll Flynn is a good one.

Speaking of songs!

Have you heard Captain Hampton and the Midget Pirates by Aquabats?....Nice stuff that.

they even mention D&D...kinda.

I simply MUST vote for "The Bucaneer", starring Frederick March as Jean Lafitte, 'cause, hey, Lafitte was my great-grand-poppa.

Yellowbeard, definitely Yellowbeard.

Speaking of pirate films, apparently a pirate film is one of Ridley Scottss possible new projects (the others being an Alexander bio-pic & Alien4).

Not a movie, but a song. Pirates, by ELP is just awesome. Check it out.

Does anyone know who sang the song PIRATE RADIO? Great lyrics!

"Pirate radio,
Pirate radio,
Pirate radio,
Argh, Argh, Argh!"

They sing (in a pirate voice) the alphabet with each letter standing for a certain pirate thing.

"'A' is for the 'Argh'
And 'B' is for the barnacles
And 'C' is for the cannibal,
He'll shoot you in the head!"

Great ending too...

"Y'know, even after all that, I'm actually kind of a nice guy. I'll take you, I don't know, to the beach or something. Maybe I'll kill your family. I don't know."

"Ah, Doc, I can't believe you built a time machine out of a Delorian."
