[OT/Andromeda] Help! What happened with Trance?

Okay, all. I was watching Andromeda tonight, and I missed about 5 minutes while trading off children with my wife. I guess they were the wrong 5 minutes. When I return, Trance is totally freaking different, saves Harper, and in the denoument, Dylan is giving her the fifth degree on how he can trust her. Why? I don't understand? Can someone explain what I missed?

The best I can guess is it is a future Trance, but that doesn't explain Dylan's reaction/concern.

Yes, she's a future Trance. The tesseract device that they extracted the Magog eggs with, also opened time in such a way that future Trance came through and traded places with her younger self. A future Beka was also there for a short while.

Future Trance but the old Trance had to want to exchange places with the new one.

I hate these time distortion stories. This is like B5, future one goes back in time to change or the control the future.

Do like the look of the new Trance, still not as hot as Romey

I know this is slightly off-topic, but I had to ask ...

What happened to Rev Bem (sp?) the magog? Is he ever coming back?

Yes, the question may seem odd - due to work schedule shifting for a "season" I missed a season of the show... now that my work schedule has once again reshifted I am able to catch an episode here and there and notice that Rev Bem has not been there for quite sometime though I think I still saw his name in the credits (but I could have just noticed the wrong name).

Anyone?

I'm not sure of the in-show reason for the character leaving (I missed the ep), but the out-of-show reason was said to be the makeup. All that make-up & costuming was making the actor physically ill -- causing health problems that were getting worse as time went by. Indeed, someone on Pyramid said that the guy on screen in the last episode wasn't actually the actor -- it was a stand-in, and the actor just did voice overs.

Virginia Hey (Zhaan) left Farscape for basically the same reason -- the makeup was making her very ill.

(At least, that's what they said. Could be just an excuse; I dunno. )

Neo-beka hot? Only in a borg sort of way...

Trance hot at all times, neo or classical. Still preferred the tail.

Normally, I would say that Laura Bertram will always take a backseat to Lexa... but that purple pageboy cut just turned my stomach.

I don't know. On one hand, this episode had me thinking "things are going to get interesting." However, this was the last episode the old author will write. From here on out, Sorbo's ego is in charge.

Hoping for the best, expecting the worst...

Edit: speaking of "could get interesting", after that ep, does anyone think that perhaps "gemini" in trance's name will get a deeper meaning?

Sorbo is actually going to be writing the episodes?? That is frightening. Interesting (and unfortunate) to hear about Mr. Magog's ill health. I'm surprised that modern makeup is not rendered from bio-friendly substances. I too was wondering where he had gone too.

I admit to not watching the show regularly until a few episodes ago so I'm also wondering what exactly this secret plot is of Mrs. Purple. Has it ever been hinted at? I saw the episode where she went down to that planet and was interrogated. Hadn't seen that side of her before.
