You just replace your STR modifier with your WIS modifier, so the same restrictions apply IMHO.Complete Champion said:Holy Warrior (Sp): At 5th level, you can spend one daily use of your turn/rebuke undead ability as a swift actionto king your Wisdom into play in combat. For 5 rounds after you activate this ability, you can use your Wisdom modifier in place of your Strength modifier on attack rolls and damage rolls.

You need at least two hands to use a bow, regardless of its size. You can use a composite longbow while mounted. All composite bows are made with a particular strength rating (that is, each requires a minimum Strength modifier to use with proficiency). If your Strength bonus is less than the strength rating of the composite bow, you can’t effectively use it, so you take a -2 penalty on attacks with it. The default composite longbow requires a Strength modifier of +0 or higher to use with proficiency. A composite longbow can be made with a high strength rating to take advantage of an above-average Strength score; this feature allows you to add your Strength bonus to damage, up to the maximum bonus indicated for the bow.
I use the word "proficiently" because that's what's in the rules. Note that the penalty for having a strength too low is -2, while regular non-proficiency would get you a -4.Corsair said:Also, assume that the archer in question is proficient with his bow already.
Assuming his Wisdom is at least 14, he'd get no penalty or benefit from using the feat with the bow. His Wisdom bonus would replace his Strength bonus, but Strength damage is capped by the bow's strength rating.Corsair said:It is a +2 str bow, and he has 14 strength. Using this ability, should the str limit on the bow affect the wis bonus damage?
