On bugbears and weapons

In our newest campaign we're going for a "monster party". Kobolds :D, goblins, minotaurs, bugbears....anything thats monstery. My question is with the bugbears ability to use a weapon larger than itself does that allow them to duel wield two handed weapons?

No, you still need to go ranger or Dex/Barb or similiar options to dual wield bigger weapons, and even then, you don't get two-handed weapons, you just get one handed weapons without off-hand (e.g. longswords, bastard swords).

Oversized just increases the damage die, as listed in... I dunno, MM1 or whereever they have it.

Note that oversized is considered to be overpowered and is disfavored by the designers and most DMs. All of the MM1 monster races with oversized lost it when they were written up as official Player builds. The only reason Bugbears still have it is that they haven't been updated as PC races. Consider that the taller minotaurs and goliaths don't have it.

If you want to keep the game balanced, you should replace oversized with some other racial feature -- probably a "Bugbear Weapon Training" feat that gives proficiency and +2 bonus to damage for a couple iconic bubgear weapons (superior melee light blades?). Or you can just have the overpowered, oversize bugbear -- go for a Mordenkrad to really cheese it out unfairly.
