New Feat: Force Bloodline [Bloodline]

MADDGOAT

First Post
I based the following on the bloodline feats for sorcerers out of the dragon compendium. I'm going for a thematic concept for a pathfinder game with some material converted from 3.5, but not necessarily an optimized one. Two spells were included for the first two levels primarily for thoroughness. Any thoughts? Specifically for the forth level spell. Is this something you would let players take in your games? Thanks!

Force Bloodline [Bloodline]

4 - ?

6 - Bigby's Forceful Hand (PHB)
7 - Bigby's Grasping Hand (PHB)

The most blatantly obvious choice for level 4 would be Orb of Force from Spell Compendium...

Alternatively, Resilient Sphere.

You should look into the SpC, it has a lot of force spells to add more variance to your list. As it stands now, you may as well call your feat the "Bigby's Illegitimate Child" bloodline.

Some Force spells in Spell Compendium, by spell level: 1 - Persistent Blade, 2 - Blast of Force, Force Ladder; 3 - Manyjaws, Chain Missiles, Blade of Pain and Fear; 4 - Forceward, Orb of Force, Force Chest, Force Claws, Force Missiles, Forcewave, Thunderlance; 5 - Shard Storm; 6 - Howling Chain

Races of the Dragon has some sorcerer-only force spells. But I don't advise using them...

EDIT: And how could you forget explosive runes and magic missle? Those are classic!
