Need suggestions on some "Paladin Edicts"...

I am playing a Gnome Paladin of Garl Glittergold in the current campaign I'm in. My DM asked me to come up with some rules or edicts that a Paladin of Garl should be expected to follow. I need some suggestions if anyone can help. I'd like to stay consistant with what one would expect from a Lawful Good Paladin (is there any other?) but also keep in mind what Garl Glittergold stands for (humor, wit, trickery).

Here is one example I can think of off the top of my head:

Garl before kingdom (ie If the laws of the land grossly go against Garl's teachings, then make decissions based on the way of Garl).

A clever joke penetrates any armor.

(in other words, delivering a message by means of a joke makes people who wouldn't otherwise, listen)

Laughter saves the darkest heart.

(in other words, laughter attacks the foundations of evil: rage and fear)

Humility, not humiliation.

Since humiliation breeds hatred, don't use it.

Pull a prank or practical joke at least once a day, but let it be ones the victim can laugh about, too! Don't antagonize by humiliating others!

Don't avoid the sullen. Cheer them up!

Teach the unknowing, but don't bore them. One good story can teach better than a thousand school books.

Here are some additional suggestions:

Fight Smarter, not Harder

There is no dishonor is using trickery against the forces of Evil. You're smaller, but smarter then most of your opponents, so use the brains Garl Glittergold gave you and out-think your opponents.

Never be serious when you can be Ironic

Killing a gang of Goblins that are attacking a temple of Garl Glittergold is good. Tricking that gang into a trap where they end up crushed by the alter of Garl Glittergold is better.

Life is fun, remind everyone of that

Protecting the innocent isn't enough. You must raise their spirits with some good jokes or practical jokes.
