NCIS origins...wouldn't that be more of a history show about how NCIS was originally created (not the show, the division of the branch)?

How often does the spinoff become more successful and lasts longer than the original program? NCIS outlasted JAG. Anyone remember that one? TNG and its spinoffs outlasts TOS. SVU?
