It's also excellent to see the Wizards D&D team has grown quite substantially, and they seem to be applying the same steady hand in guiding the formation of their books. Great all around.

So, I checked around, due to the recent controversy:

- Mike Mearls was still credited as a designer in Descent into Avernus and Eberron Rising from the Last War. But in Wildemount and now here, Mearls is credited for "IP Development" in the marketing and brand management section of the credits.

- This is the first book with Ray Winninger as the Executive Producer.

Do we know yet if the satyrs are male-only? That really annoyed me with the 4e satyr. I played a female satyr anyway, but it was still annoying.

Theros satyrs come in both male and female, per existing cards

That's one of the advantages of the "inspired by Greek Myth" choice: they can change the myth to fit their story. Satyrs are a normal species on Theros, with male and female characters.
