Excited for it. The MI series is my favorite modern action franchise. Tom Cruise is a nutjob and I honestly feel always very conflicted because he is part of what is in my eyes just a plain criminal organization that uses religion as a facade - but I can't help myself watching these movies.

I wouldn't wonder if they do even more MI movies but either with a new lead or more stunt doubles. He is getting old.

Tom is getting a bit long in the tooth to be running around in the field. I am thinking they may be setting up a new IMF team, with Ethan maybe taking over as head of the IMF. I mean, naming Pom Klementieff's character "Paris" seems an on the nose callback to the TV series. They have Haley Atwell's Grace. Briggs and Degas appear to get some development and personality (I still wonder if Briggs has some connection to Marie, or to Ethan's past in some other way?), and are presented as honest and capable.
