I want to see this so badly I can hear the screeching of metal as my desire pulls against the bonds of my decision to not reflexively see all the Marvel movies in theatre.

Thoughts:

1) Interesting take on "Under Pressure"!

2) I thought before that they were just blacking out the bad guy in the trailer to keep his identity a secret, but now I'm thinking that's actually what he looks like since he says he's "the void" and there's tendrils of darkness and an actual void that Yelena enters and such.

3) It appears that the story is that Val attempts to create a new superhero only for him to go bad, so she gets Bucky to bring together the Thunderbolts to stop him.

4) This trailer shows more of Ghost in action but I didn't see Taskmaster anywhere.

I had another thought but it's slipped away.

Yeah, that asterisk almost definitely means the movie ends with them putting "The Avengers" up on the screen as the real name of the movie (and team).

The original Thunderbolts from the comics is lightning in a bottle they'll never be able to capture again, but having a bunch of anti-heroes, villains and third-tier heroes having to step up like this -- and doing so in a heartfelt way, rather than a jokey Gunn's Suicide Squad way -- looks like it could be great. Fingers crossed.

I was thinking more DARK AVENGERS with Valentina replacing Norman Osborne but yeah...
