Magic Item as Cleric's Holy Symbol?

Do you think a cleric's holy symbol could be a Periapt of Wisdom too?

My cleric, flavour text wise, wears his Iron Fist of Krom around his neck, along with his Periapt of Wisdom. This keeps it handy for when he needs it. Holy Symbols don't take up magic item slots afaik, and I presume it is ok to wear other non-magical jewellery on one's neck as well.

So I just thought, why not enchant an Iron Fist of Krom to be a Periapt of Wisdom as well. Can anyone think of a reason why not?

As long as it's enchanted by a cleric of Krom, sure. Holy Symbols with magical powers are a very good thing to encourage.
