First Post
(Copied from my post on the WotC d20 Modern board)
I picked up the SRD (since I have no chance of getting the book in the near future), and I figured, "Why not?"
I have two now, and I might add more if the response is good.

Benjamin Franklin Pierce was born in Crabapple Cove, Maine, sometime in the 1920's, to Daniel Pierce and an unknown mother, who died when Ben was young. Ben may have a sister. Daniel read "The Last of the Mohicans" frequently, and he gave his son the nickname "Hawkeye," which is used more often than his actual given name.
Hawkeye went into medicine at an early age, making deliveries from Ballinger's Drugstore, did his medical residency in Boston, and got drafted as a surgeon when the US Army entered the Korean conflict. He was sent to the 4077 Mobile Army Surgical Hospital under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Henry Blake, and roomed with his residency buddy Captain "Trapper John" McIntyre and Major Frank "Ferret Face" Burns in a tent referred to as "The Swamp."
Hawkeye is on call at all times, performing meatball surgery for hours at a stretch in barely sanitary conditions, and still finding the energy to come up with verbal jabs at Frank and his extramarital relationship with the head nurse, Major Margaret "Hotlips" Houlihan.
Famous Hawkeye Quotes
"I will not carry a gun, Frank. When I got thrown into this war I had a clear understanding with the Pentagon: no guns. I'll carry your books, I'll carry a torch, I'll carry a tune, I'll carry on, carry over, carry forward, Cary Grant, cash and carry, carry me back to Old Virginia, I'll even 'hari-kari' if you show me how, but I will not carry a gun!"
"I will heal their wounds, treat their wounds, bind their wounds, but I will not inflict their wounds!"
