So in case there's any other interest out there for others who used to play these, the old Gold Box AD&D games are on Steam as of a few days ago.

Normally might not be quite as interesting since these have become available on GOG a number of years back, but this is interesting since this comes pre-packaged with the Gold Box Companion which brings some quality-of-life improvements for the games (Auto-filling map as you explore, which you can place map notes on, a bar attached to the window that shows every PC's hit points, ability to pull the journal PDF/manuals/etc from the links, etc).
You could technically download/install the Gold Box Companion separately if you already own these on GOG.
