That could just be Isla Sorna, the production facility island from JP II and III. It was sealed off from public access as a 'nature' reserve at the end of II, which tracks with it being off-limits in this movie.

(Gareth Edwards isn't exactly a master director but he could be worse and usually creates strong images at least)

I dunno if I'll see it at the cinema, but I might actually watch it at all, unlike the previous one.

Yeah that would make sense but apparently isn't the case.

It might be Site C/Isla Muerte, but I suspect it'll just be yet another made-up island.

There is actually an answer to this in JP lore - 5. And Isla Nublar apparently doesn't count as one of those 5. AFAIK the only one of the five we've seen is Isla Sorna.
