Item Creation cost?

pardon the ignorance, but i don't have a DMG and was wondering:

how much would it cost to make an existing masterwork weapon into a +1 weapon? (meaning excluding the actual weapon cost. just the creation cost ... not sure if i said that right ...)

Assuming you are going to enchant it yourself...

The market price for a +1 weapon is 2000 GP. However, making it yourself with Craft Magic Arms and Armor reduces this cost by half, so it only costs 1000 GP in addition to 80 XP.
