Is there any way to dismount a rider?

Aside from killing the mount that is.

As far as I understand it, whenever a rider is pushed, pulled or slid, he may move the mount with him.

I get this from the May update.

Force moving the MOUNT will cause the rider to dismount, knocking the mount prone will also automatically dismount the rider. Knocking the RIDER prone gives the rider a straight saving throw to remain mounted. Basically if you want to dismount someone then attack the mount with some power that either causes forced movement or some condition that results in the mount going prone. Beyond that you can often make the rider WANT to dismount, immobilizing the mount, grabbing it, slowing it, or stunning it will often force the rider to choose between dismounting and simply wasting his turn unless he's got effective ranged powers.

According to the update, moving the mount causes the rider to move with him. I seem to remember something about knocking someone prone causing a dismount but I can't find the rule anywhere.

As an aside, does anyone know where I can find a complete errata for the player's handbook?

The D&D Updates page is here. The main link contains the latest updates for all products. The Archive link contains complete updates, both all in one file and broken down by product.

DMG1 around page 45. Knocking the rider prone forces a save to stay mounted. I guess if they removed forced mount movement dismounting automatically then the only SURE way to dismount someone is to knock their mount prone. Really though, the DM should be prepared to offer other possibilities or at least allow the PCs to set up some tricks that might work, like using a tripcord/clothesline or jumping on the rider, etc.

There are some other rather more involved possibilities too. If the mount can be immobilized (grabbing works) then the rider could be force-moved off it. Things like bola, grasping weapons, etc could be handy in these cases.
