Flamming
Frost
Corrosive
Shock
Wounding
Step back and watch the main bad guy of the quest go bye bye. Stuck to your sword taking flamming frost corrosive shock and wounding damage every round. Would it work like that? Or when the great red Dragon swallowed you and took flight. Imagine the look on its face when you set your 3 and half foot broad sword upright and made it immovable. Ouch!!!Let me know If you have any other cool weapon combas.

it would be better in an adamantium(?) harpoon.

Also: make sure you design it so that it can be disabled when on board a ship/airship. accidental activation can be difficult to explain...

Sovereign Glue has to be kept in contact for a full round before it takes effect. If you can find some way to ensure that the BBEG doesn't move at all while you impale him with your sword for a round, something tells me the battle's already won.

I don't think it would work like that. Combat is abstract, not play-by-play.

There are no real mechanics I can think of that would support this as workable/playable. It's a nice (?) mental image, but doesn't fit in the game mechanics IMO.

Plus, the rod is only immovable in that it supports 5,000 lbs. of force/weight before moving. Activating a rod in a dragon's stomach, if the dragon were huge size or larger, would probably just mean a slower-moving dragon. :)

adamantine

Adamant, like the old word for diamonds, today it just means An extremely hard substance.
And -ine meaning...made of. So adamantine means "made of hard stuff".

Adamantium is something completely made up for Marvel comics. :p
