How to fix book warp?

Ok, does anyone know how to fix "book warp" in soft-cover books?

What I refer to is this... I left my Earthdawn book in the backseat of my truck (It's called the backseat, but you would have to be an anorexic midget monkey to fit back there), and the heat sorta... reshaped it. Now it's kinda got a curve to the pages... Turning the pages produces a "crick" sound when the pass a certain "bend point". Hard to explain, but I can't be the only person to encounter this.

Anyone got a good cure for this?

Try placing a solid flat surface on both sides, and place something heavy on top. I've had the same trouble with many older softbound books and this has worked for me. Good luck!! :D

That's nothing - the cover of my copy of the Banewarrens, for some reason, will curl all the way back and touch itself if it sits somewhere without pressure applied. It's really annoying, and it's not like I damaged the book in any way.

I bought a copy of the Soverign Stone book that was a little warped, but was "half-price because someone wrote their name in the front," according to my FLGS owner. Turns out that someone is Margaret Weis ;)

Priceless.

Try a jump to the left, and then a step to the right. Put your hands on your hips, and bring your knees in tight. And then a pelvic thrust...

Leave the book in a humid place ( the same backseat) for a night, then place it between two boards and stack a LOT of weight on it. Leave that stack for a few days ( dont do this in a damp place). They should be allright then.
