This might be a pipe dream, but I was wondering if anyone is aware of any work/book/website offering a historic review of adventures/modules/campaigns that marked the history of TTRPG? Something similar to Designers and Dragons by Shannon Appelcline, but focused on modules and how they changed the style of module-writing in history. I am imagining it as a sort of school anthology - not an anthology that you buy to play specific adventures, but an anthology where you might read significant and noteworthy passages; e.g.: like in the English lit class you read Shakespearean passages that depict the character of Hamlet - which influenced all subsequent literature, here you could read a passage say describing Strahd - which similarly influenced many future authors.
Incidentally, I have been reading and enjoying posts on the forum like the one on the Quests from the Infinite Staircase (D&D 5E - Quests From The Infinite Staircase) or the short and neat summaries by JEB on WotC publications (D&D General - 50 years, 50 publications - results) - but I was still wondering if something more comprehensive has ever been undertaken by anyone?
