D&D 5E Help! Need suggestion for a 4-6 hour SOLO adventure appropriate for 13th level

A Title Much Cooler Than Anything on the Old Site
So my monthly game day kinda fell apart and I find myself a bit flat footed. Only one player can make it. We could just play a few board games, but the player would like to play some D&D. I've got a number of side adventures planned, but they are also designed for the party. They are best for at least 3 players and are tied into various story lines.

I'm looking for an adventure I can buy on Drive Through RPG or DMs Guild that would be appropriate for a solo 13th-level sorcerer.

I do have Yawning Portal, but nothing there seems to really fit—or would require a lot of alteration to make work for a solo adventure.

Any suggestions welcome!

I wish I could help, but I homebrew pretty much all my adventures and have never really run a published adventure.

My advice is the player is taken on a spirit quest of some sort, a ripple in reality that allows them to be somewhere else doing something else unconnected with the main plot you are on.

Then decide if you want this to be combat or social.

For a single player, being outnumbered is a big deal, but you can also throw in some cool solo monsters that would never survive a full party. Two Oni might not be a threat to a level 13 party, but a single player might have to really think on how to approach them because a fight may not go their way.

Labyrinths and mazes are great for solo play I think, because they interact and make all the decisions and you don't have to worry about people splitting up.

Yeah, essentially it all boils down to "wing it and hope for the best" Me and a friend once wanted to test out a new system entirely and I ran a 1v1 game of his anime girl with chameleon powers sneaking into a government facility. It was pretty fun for 2 hours of gameplay and learning the rules.

I would probably run a regular 6th level adventure, maybe lower if the PC is squishy. You could use something from Dyson Logos, subbing in 5e monster stats - Dyson's Delve starts too low level https://rpgcharacters.wordpress.com/maps/dysons-delve/ but I would recommend Worm's Gullet - https://rpgcharacters.wordpress.com/2011/03/30/into-the-worms-gullet-a-one-page-dungeon/ - I ran it in 5e and it was great, and should take about 4 hours depending on the framing material. The Shadows killed one of our PCs! I made the Heart of Dur the basis for a Stone of Earth Elemental Command.

The doppelganger scenario? Pit the PC against his evil clone, who wants to make an end of him so that it can impersonate him in the regular game, undermine the regular party and ruin the game for everyone else. At least it will be balanced ...

I end up running him through "Forge of Fury" from the Yawning Portal. The adventure fit well into my campaign setting.

SPOILERS WARNING—IF YOU THINK YOU MAY PLAY FORGE OF FURY AS A PLAYER STOP READING

I pretty much ran it strait as it was published. He was able to complete the entire thing in about four hours. That was because he polymorphed as a bird so was able to discover 3 of the 4 ways of getting in and bypassed the orcs level completely. Also, his ability to polymorph into a giant ape helped him a great deal.

It even though designed for a much lower level, it was still fun and provided enough danger to keep it interesting.
