Healing Hands + Devoted Paladin = uber healing?

First Post
Healing Hands lets a paladin add Cha mod. to Lay On Hands healing.

Devoted Paladin (Divine Power) gives a paladin +1 surge and lets him add Cha mod. to Lay On Hands healing.

Do they stack?

Yep. And with the 'every milestone gain a LoH' feat at paragon it turns LoH into a pretty solid option. I wouldn't say uber, though :)

Uber healing is a kalashar cleric with Mark of Healing, Healer's Implement, Potent Restorables, Beatific Healer, Healer's brooch, medic's dagger, Mace of Healing, and Gloves of the Healer using astral seal for an at-will heal of godly amounts that doesn't require a healing surge. That's uber healing. When your paladin can heal 20% of someone's health at-will w/o anyone spending a healing surge, then call you've got an uber healer. But him spending a healing surge and adding 2*cha to it is nothing to write home about.

Yeah, but that's the cleric's point. For a paladin (specially a Chaladin) to heal +10-12 hp on a LoH pretty much doubles the surge value of most non-defenders.

I'll give you that. For a paladin trying to be a better healer these 2 feats are very efficient.

For a paladin trying to be a better defender these two feats are not more efficient.

One, maybe, but there's other feats that help you do your job better.

Also, Hospitaler, yo.

Paladins were kind of off-leaders before Divine Power, it looks like their Defendery nature got a nice boost, but so did some of their leadery nature.

Although a friend calls lay on hands 'retroactive defending' to make up for the less efficient defending the paladin heals you damage you may have suffered.

I always just liked lay hands for myself when I played a paladin. Heal your surge value as a minor action? Yes please.

As Turtlejay said - retroactive defense.

"You know, that guy that hit you last round?"
"Yes?"
Lays hands on ally.
"He didn't. He hit me. Now kill him for me."

Add Hospitaler for triple Cha at Paragon.

Not sure if I want this for my Kalashatar paladin again or not... I traded Healing Hands for Virtuous Recovery last level under the assumption that it would prevent more damage than this heals most days.
