Gray Dragon?

Well we know what the brown and purple dragons are... Any guesses on what the gray one will be like? What environments are left?

Well personally this is what I would like the Gray Dragon to be like:

It is Fog/Mist based. It is a Dragon that lives its entire life within natural or artificial fog and mist banks created by itself. This is a creature that prefers to use stealth and surprise to feed, using the rolling fog to cover itself.

Villages fear and grow terrified when they see a massive fog bank rolling down from the mountains, any which one could carry within it a Grey Dragon, which upon the fogs departure will leave just ruin in its wake. Not even sound can escape, muffled by the fog.

Ability wise, the Grey Dragon can perform Sneak Attacks when covered in its fog banks, can generate fog, summon bouts of wind and in the most powerful turn into fog itself.

We should probably find out soon since some people already have the book.

I don't think that will be the case as the purple dragon already covers the "sneaky dragon" role.

I keep glancing over the thread title as I scroll the list of thread topics and I keep seeing it as Gay Dragon. Now that is something entirely diferent than what this thread is about.

*chuckles* I keep seeing "Gary Dragon" and thinking it's some kind of thread about a Gygax tribute dragon of some weird sort. :)

LOL! I just came in here to post the same thing!

I really need to get new glasses...

Gotta love 4e - it really puts the "drag" back in dragon! :D

Gray dragons is perhaps a dweller between the world where the Shadowfell and the D&D world collide? Or maybe it dwells in the depths of volcanic islands where smoke pours forth from long-dead volcanos about to arise again?

From this thread on RPGnet, it appears gray dragons like living in wide open spaces such as praries, scrublands, and badlands. They have good eyesight and like seeing their prey from miles away. Their breath weapon is a caustic ooze witha push effect. I don't know what monster role they are, but I bet they're Solo Skirmishers.
