Depends on what you consider good. If you have the 2 expasions, those are a much better single player campign then the one that comes with the orginal game, IMO.

Here is a list of Neverwinter Nights modules that, IMO, are the cream of the crop. I've provided links to where you can download the modules, but please be aware that many of these modules have additional files that must be downloaded (such as hack packs or movies). Hack packs should be placed in the /hak folder of your Neverwinter Nights directory, music files should be placed the /music folder, movie files should be placed in the /movie folder, etc. These are not dirct links to the files, but rather links to the pages they can be downloaded from.

Shadowlords by Adam Miller
Description: Set in the Forgotten Realms, Shadowlords begins with you delivering a message to a military encampment near Scornubel, but soon has you traveling across Faerun in an epic adventure with healthy doses of romance and intrigue.
Shadowlords 1 - The Message
Shadowlords 2 - Hill's Edge
Shadowlords 3 - Skull Gorge
Shadowlords 4 - Stonemeet
Shadowlords 5 - Enter the Shadow

Dreamcatcher by Adam Miller
Description: After the events in Shadowlords, you have decided to stop in Waterdeep for a well-deserved rest. It isn't long, however, before you are caught up in an adventure that could change the very face of the Realms. This campaign does things that I've never seen done before using the NWN engine. Winner of Neverwinter Vault's Module of the Year 2003.
Dreamcatcher 1 - Skyfall
Dreamcatcher 2 - Ocean Dreams
Dreamcatcher 3 - Pit of Stars
Dreamcatcher 4 - Evermeet

Demon by Adam Miller
Description: Following the events in the Dreamcatcher campaign, you've retired from adventuring and decided to settle down with your new family. Unfortunately, your peaceful life is inturrupted by an unknown enemy, and you suddenly find yourself on a journey that will take you through the very planes of existance and reveal things about yourself that you could have never imagined.
Demon

Penultima by Stefan Gagne
Description: Penultima is a parody of fantasy RPGs. Featuring a good story in addition to great humor, Penultima is one of the most enjoyable campaigns around.
Penultima 0: Penultima City
Penultima 1: Pest Control
Penultima 2: Deweys Decimal
Penultima 3: Hazard Pay
Penultima 4: Clucking Hostile
Penultima 5: Home Sweet Home

Penultima ReRolled by Stefan Gagne
Description: The sequel to Penultima, this campaign features even more of the trademark Penultima humor in addition to a storyline that continues the one that began in the first campaign. Watch out for demonic penguins!
Penultima ReRolled PR0/PR1 - Starter Pack (Pen. City/Party Crashers)
Penultima ReRolled PR2 - Below the R00t
Penultima ReRolled PR3 - Homeland Security
Penultima ReRolled PR4 - Pastor of Muppets
Penultima ReRolled PR5 - The Saving Throw

elegia eternium by Stefan Gagne
Description: A roleplaying-heavy campaign of drama and psychological horror, complete with soundtrack and voice-acting.
ee1 - elegia eternium
ee2 - excrucio eternium
ee3 (Coming sometime in 2004)

The Paladin Trilogy by Rick Burton
Description: As the title of this campaign implies, you play as a paladin. After being initiated into the paladin order, you find yourself wrapped up in an adventure that will put your abilites to the test. In addition to an engaging storyline and clever puzzles, this adventure is unique in that your henchwoman plays an essential role in the story, rather than just serving as a supporting character. These modules require the Shadows of Undrentide expansion pack to play.
Twilight
Midnight
Dawn (coming sometime in 2004)

I agree with those suggestions, especially Shadowlords and elegia eternum. I don't think either "sequel" was up to par with the originals though. One of my favorite mods of the past year was Island Adventures: The Horns of Craven. A flat out blast to play, and it's sequel should be out soon as well (image of me, grritting my teeth hoping, hoping, hoping it's as good as the first).

Horns of Craven linky...

I agree with Dark Jezter. Those are the best of the best community mods.

I would disagree with rating Rick Burton lower than Adam or Stef's stuff though.

I preferred Twilight/Midnight to all of Stef Gagne's stuff, and most of Adam's. Ricks' time trails can be a little aggravating to some, but his puzzles are masterful and his writing and programming excellent. Rick has written the best NWN henchmen yet with the NPC Pirotase.

We've worked with Adam and Stef on their mods by way of material or otherwise and Rick was talking with us on collaborating back in the spring (so I'm a little biased on all of those three) but that's the best of the best IMO.

Demon, by Adam Miller, should be up on the Vault this weekend, btw.

Demon features a lot of custom content and new tilesets from DLA and CODI both. I think you'll be very pleased with the eye candy and the story too.

Heh, I'm just the opposite. I thought that Dreamcatcher and excrucio eternium were both better than their predecessors. I also thought that Rick Burton's second module in the Paladin Trilogy, Midnight, was clearly superior to its predecessor, Twilight.

Well, I didn't list the modules in any particular order. I actually think that Rick's modules are easily on the same level as Adam's modules, and have trouble deciding which ones I like more. I really, truly hope that Rick decides to complete the Paladin Trilogy, as he's recently commented that he might abandon the project. :(

Oh, by the way, I'm really looking forward to Dragonlance Adventures. DLA and CODI are two NWN projects that I'm definately keeping tabs on.

My comment was not aimed at you, but Greylock.

Aye, Midnight is better than Twilight. Twilight suffers from a VERY hard puzzle and an initial time trial that puts a lot of people "off" and they want to give up. As well, it's a while adventuring before Pirotase and the plot show up in Twilight.

These aren't bad things, but it deters some people with continuing with Twilight until it starts "getting really good".

One of my teammates, Velmar, hates the initial time trial and he's not been able to play past that in Twilight. We bicker about that every other month or so. ;)

I haven't played the Paladin Trilogy yet, so I can't comment on Burton's work. Probably get around to it after Demons comes out. I'm itching to play Island Adventures again as well. Kinda lost touch with that char and want to start fresh for the new mod (whenever it comes).

Good news, people! Here are some recent comments from Neverwinter Vault made by Rick Burton, the author of the Paladin Trilogy...

Rick Burton said:
Oh. And yes, I have been working on Dawn. Because of a very unpridictable schedule I am not going to make any release date estimates.

Well, good news. I restarted the ALPHA testing a few days ago. At this time I have no good estimate for a release date. Maybe 2 months or so?

Looks like Dawn just might be released after all. Whoo! :)
