The Ghostbusters RPG--which has long been my favorite TTRPG--was released back in 1986. And on Saturday October 19th, the spooky gaming podcast Bob After Dark will be playing it live at Chicago's Sony Wonderverse to raise funds for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals via Extra Life.

The event will feature six ghostbusters cosplayers, and will be live-streamed on the podcasts's Twitch channel. The players include members from various Ghostbusters cosplay groups, including James Norman (Windy City Ghostbusters), Jacob Bartlett (Circle City Ghostbusters), Jeff Foxwell (Ghostbusters Virginia), Jon Roop (South Carolina Ghostbusters), James “Deuce” Gaspard** (Louisiana Ghostbusters), and Paxton Crissey (Sioux Empire Ghostbusters).

Sony Wonderverse hosts 'Taste, Sip, Experience' themed events, which include food and drink, and other activities, along with the actual show.

Bob After Dark has done this before on Twitch, again supporting Extra Life back in July, raising $1,500. This time promises to be a bigger event, with a goal of $2,000.

Rightfully so. I didn't realize it at the time, but it was a really, really good game. I read the 1st edition for the first time since the Reagan presidency and was pleasantly surprised about how good it was.
