Gaming stores in Mass (or RI) near Seekonk.

I just moved to Seekonk, MA. (It is about 10 mi from Providence, RI and 15 mi from New Bedford, MA).

I'm looking for gaming stores (if you know about multiples and have opinions, then EVEN BETTER!)

Anyone know about any options? Alternatively, anyone know about ways to search for gaming stores? I've found the yellow pages quite lacking each and every time I've moved to a new place (including New Haven, CT, Newington, CT, and Rochester, MN).

THANKS!!!

Rivendell books and games on rte 44 in rahoboth is a short drive from Seekonk, as is still point comics on s main st in fall river. Also if you are intrested in gaming there's games to be had in both locations. I play RPGA every Saterday morning at Still point, and play in a Eberron game there Tuesdays, at Rivendell we're working on getting in a couple RPGA games a month and i'm running a bi weekly 4e game there. Lucky for you MA has a healthly gaming community and you don't nessasarily have to make the trip to boston to find a game, or a good game store.

I've been to Rivendell a few times myself. Staff is very friendly; lots in stock. I've placed special orders there.

I didn't know they had any room there for customer gaming-- the store is jampacked with merchandise.

(But it's been over a year since I have been there-- before the launch of 4e.)

They have a backroom with 4 tables. It's not a very big gaming area, but it gets the job done and if things ever out grow the space the owner has the option to rent a hall in a building across the way.

Sir Osis,

Very, very helpful! Thanks.

Anyone else out there have ideas on this region?

I bookmarked the "boston gaming stores thread" and I realize this not a major metropolis per se (though Providence, RI is), but I'd love to find a few more gaming stores.

I plan to make a day of it and tour all of the stores recommended at least twice to see what kind of stock, staff expertise, gaming opportunities, and such are like at each location.

Thanks to all, and especially to Sir Osis of Liver...Your first post was EXACTLY what I wanted. XP to you!

EDIT: and to help others in this region out, here are the web sites for those stores:
