Hmmm
although it was a bit underwhelming after the highlight of last week, the episode was okay really although that fact that Gilly dropping the annulment hint was the best scene is somewhat telling!

that it started with a fully armoured Jaime being pulled out of the other side of the river didn't help, I just groaned and commented that they could of at least had him lose his armour to indicated just a little bit of effort - I suppose unsinkable Jaime is the some syndrome as the teleporting characters (like Jorah getting to Dragonstone from the other side of the continent in a couple of days.)

Nice to see Gendry back with a badass Hammer smash and good to see spy v spy with Arya, although I'm thinking her tension with Sansa is just a redherring - or it's just setting her up to kill Littlefinger (and any other conspirators betraying Jon!).

it's also going to be interesting to see Sam's reaction once he learns whathappened to his little brother.

ok so some questions

Did the necromancer give Cersei the ability to have a baby? Whats his endgame in all of this. Cersei has a plan for the meeting so it cant be good
Was also somewhat disappointed that Jaimie didn't lose his hand or armor underwater

gotta assume that many of the people in the last scene don't survive the white walker battle

Littlefingers letter. Total setup but did the actual letter exist in winterfell or did he save a copy of it from when she wrote it when her father died

I think Jaime gave her the ability to make a baby. Assuming she didn't lie to keep Jaime in line.

The Suicide Squad mission does seem like a bone-headed maneuver. Probably gonna end with a Deus Ex Machina of some sorts.

I don't think the Maester is in on Littlefinger's plans. I think it is genuinely the letter that was sent. That said. I think Arya will see through it because everything was a little too convenient. Maybe with the help of Bran.

I think the baby is a lie.

I am starting to wonder (if it indeed is a lie) whether this is what will cause her brother to kill her. As the fortune teller said so long ago.

I was pretty interested in those bedroom eyes Danny was looking at Jon with.

This episode was pretty good. Not a lot of action, but I feel we got a lot of movement and information in an entertaining way.

.

well yes, if you want to get all biological about it. However it does bring up the issue of the 3 children prophecy that Cersei got from the witch in the woods.
SO is the baby a simple result of biology or is Qyburns 'magic' involved? and what does another child mean for her?

Personally I wonder if this baby could be the "Volonqar" that will choke the life from her pale neck...

Basically a "set the table" episode last night for the final episodes.

I find the irony with the burning of the Tarly clan to be delicious. The Tarlys are these anti-foreigner types, but now that Randall and Dickon dead, Sam could be the presumptive head of House Tarly (and he holds the ancestral Valaryian steel sword). I doubt Sam will take this on, but his adoptive son could be the future of House Tarly. The bio son of a a Nights Watch deserter and a wilding could end up the head of house Tarly (and no pure blood line to Tarly bloodline). Dickon and Randall are rolling over their ash filled graves.

I don't know if that is possible, huskylawyer. Sam took the Black, that normally means he can get no titles, and he shouldn't have children (or marry) either. Of course, Jon Snow, the Bastard son that took the Black, is now the King in the North, so who knows.
