Coyote & Crow Games is releasing their multiple award-winning alternate history sci-fi RPG Coyote & Crow as a Pay What You Want title for one day only on Indigenous Peoples Day. From their Bluesky post, “We suggest that Native folks pay nothing. Everyone else, pay what you feel is fair.”
And once you pick up Coyote & Crow or if you already have it, Michael Jenks released an alternate life path character creation system to take a more narrative approach to making your character.
We got a whole lot of full game systems, starter sets, quickstarts, and previews of new games. In no particular order, we’re starting with Meteor Tales: Age of Grit Starter Set from Spiral Lane Productions. This custom system fantasy game uses just a D20, D12, and D10 for task resolution and features a Cinematic combat style where your attributes change dynamicall in combat.
Noah Kastin released 1-2-3, a TTRPG combat system that adds a new layer of tactical decision-making by letting you choose to make smaller attacks that do less damage to build up to a larger, more devastating attack by spending points you earned with the lighter attacks.
A new SRD is out from Cthulhu Reborn for the Cthulhu Eternal system, this one titled Cthulhu Eternal Future with all the rules you need to run a science fiction themed game of cosmic horror.
If you want the mundane existential terror of liminal spaces, Shuffle! released The Spaces Between, an RPG designed for 2 to 5 players exploring the transitional spaces of the world with psychological and survival horror.
Snafurnatt Press has MechoLite, a rules-light mecha RPG system that focuses on the part that players really care about: The Mechs. Play as-is or add on to your favorite RPG system for the out-of-machine parts in any setting from high-tech sci-fi to post-apocalyptic scavenging.
While most anime games focus on the more action-packed shonen genres, Zotiquest has something more chill with SoLAR – Slice of Anime Realized with rules for the more grounded slice-of-life anime where the fantastical elements (if any) take a back seat to family, friendship, and life drama.
And the last of the new systems this week, Neerdie released the one-page RPG Pumpkin Potion where the players take on the roles of ghosts who are spending their first Halloween in the afterlife attempting to create a Pumpkin Potion that might bring you back to life. Also available in Polish.
Why should Forged in the Dark players miss out on a bit of Lovecraftian fun? RPGuPolaka gives us They Swim Among Us with unspeakable horrors from the deep threaten the surface in this supplement for They Live Among Us.
Mainprize Publishing has a new class for Dungeon World with Sporecaster, characters with innate connection to mushrooms to tap into their magical potentials.
If you want a new item for MÖRK BORG, Grim Goat Games brings you Toothberries, deliciously crunchy teeth that heals the body at a gruesome price if overused.

Nick Fotopoulos and Dungeon Master Adamantine released Player Supplement: Character Journal, a 100-page book with everything you need to keep detailed track of your character with blank hex maps, character sketch areas, full character sheet plus sheets for mounts, familiars, and followers, and a lot more to cover anything you could want for chronicling your character’s adventures.
And we have a rare bundle here in the freebies section as Thomas and Rachel Kolar collected their new Domains of Dread for Ravenloft inspired by classic animated films and children’s classics twisted in just the right ways for the horrific D&D setting.
We got several 5e adventures this week as well. Starting with AO Publications’ Red Moon Company, this 5th level adventure places the players as members of the titular monstrous mercenary outfit heading deep into the desert with VTT-ready battlemaps.
Adventures in Filbar released the duet-play adventure OP65- Inheritance where the 3rd level character discovers a distance uncle has passed away and left the player a shop in Cathoway which has some unfortunate occupants who will need to be dealt with before the inheritance can be claimed.
The last new 5e adventure for the week, Nathan Ashley’s Battle at the Crossroads places the 1st to 3rd level party is sent to reclaim Fort Amin-Dair at the crossroads between two powerful families after it has been overrun by bandits in time to defend it from a monstrous horde.

I’m sorry for the gushing that’s about to happen, but you all probably know my love of the Shadowrun setting by this point and the Shadowrun Legends bundle from Catalyst Game Labs and Humble Bundle features a collection of the tie-in novels from the Shadowrun franchise going all the way back to the start. Even the first tier of the bundle includes one of my favorite Shadowrun novels and still one of my favorite novels of all time, 2XS by Nigel Findley, along with the first full novel Never Deal with a Dragon by Robert N. Charrette and Striper Assassin by Nyx Smith.
