Philip Reed Games posted a new system-agnostic seasonal adventure A Dozen Sugary Rumors that pits the players against the growing evil of the Gingerbread Men.
There’s more holiday fun with the adventure Christmas Goons from Skavenloft for the Tunnel Goons RPG. The wizard Santiclous is on the search for a mysterious artifact to light the top of his Christmas tree and seeks the help of the party. Also available in Polish.
With the holiday scheduling nightmares hitting gaming groups hard, Universe Ball Anthology has a nice light system for a one-shot duet play with Hearts & Bolts: A Cyberpunk RPG About Dating Robots. As in humans dating robots, not robots that are dating one another.
If you’re looking for a one-shot that’s a bit different, Social Turtle Games has You Are a Cat, and You Suck. This fail-forward diceless one-page RPG places the entire group playing a single cat who left the house to get a precious, delicious whole salmon.
Over on Dungeonmasters Guild, TiredOrc posted The Witching Bear, an adventure meant to be added to Curse of Strahd but can be used in any Ravenloft game that places the 4th to 5th level party in the town of Vallaki on the trail of the partner of a wolf hunter who has gone missing.
A. B. Funing released Spirit of the Festival of Lights, a holiday-themed adventure for 2nd to 4th level parties where a toy store owner has summoned a Festival of Light spirit to add some cheer for the season only for things to go wrong and the possessed toys and sweets have run amok. Also available in German.
Yuriy Shikhanovich posted the beginner adventure The Library meant for 3rd level characters specifically designed to introduce the more varied aspect of D&D such as social encounters, puzzles, exploration, and more.
Looks like people are starting to take advantage of the open license from Free League for the Year Zero Engine as the adventure These Nightmares of Ours from Jim Critical is the first I’ve seen so far. This Twilight: 2000 encounter is a nightmare sequence that sends the party against a gauntlet of enemies before they can’t handle anymore and wake up with stress based on their success or failure.
If you’ve picked up Darrington Press’s Candela Obscura, you’ll be interested in the release from Nostromo’s Reliquary The Second Circle, a short assignment that sends the team after a lost group of other investigators after they disappeared.
And Nostromo’s Reliquary has more Candela Obscura adventure with If It Bleeds, It Leads focused on hunting down a vengeful serial killer.
RDSouth released a full RPG system Here Be Monsters designed to create a retro nostalgic feel with a completely new 394-page system that does warn there will be algebra.
Bainrit also has a new game system with Living Lands where players take on the roles of Biomancers using “organic augmentations to alter their physiology in order to adapt to the harsh landscapes, channel the land to perform feats of magic, and bond with symbiotes that fight beside them.”
There’s a new issue of The Pauper’s Page, an Old-School Essentials zine from Downsized Press. Vol 1 Issue 8 includes a new campaign setting, new items, roll tables, NPCs, mini-encounters, gamemaster tips, and more.

The Forced Collection add-on increase four Forged in the Dark adventures including the fantasy-Renaissance Court of Blades, the Dwarf Fortress-inspired Mountain Home, the solo RPG A Torch in the Dark, and dinosaurs in space Kosmosaurs.

Over on Humble, the Ultimate RPG Guides is having a limited-time holiday encore. This book collection features advice on running a game, worldbuilding, gameplay, character creation (as in background and character design, not min-maxing), mythology, cookbooks, and a lot more to help you improve your game sessions. This bundle is available for a very limited time and is only available as supplies of the rewards last.
The big bundle from Humble this week though is the Pathfinder 2nd Edition Legacy Bundle from Paizo. Thsi bundle features a full library of Pathfinder 2e books in their original, non-remaster format with all the OGL content still in.
