Sébastien THOMAS released The Horn of Plenty, an adventure for Alpha Clearance heroes for Torg Eternity. Get involved in a special auction for a map to find an excavation site for a powerful artifact in a race to find an Egyptian city that never existed.

Over on Dungeonmasters Guild, G Puc released Silvershore Haunting, a first level introductory adventure where the party is sent to the village of Silvershore to purify it of a past trauma and the spirits of the past haunting it.

Charity Bundles and Sales

Actor and author Anjali Bhimani will be the GM for the charity live stream The Puppy Roll coming on August 20. A dramatic trailer is available here which promises that “Paws Will Roll”, while the charity fundraiser page is on Tiltify. The cast includes Matt Mercer (Critical Role), Ashley Johnson (Critical Role), Aabria Iyengar (Dimension 20), Emily Swallow (The Mandalorian, Supernatural), and Maggie Robertson (Baldur’s Gate III, Resident Evil VIIIage). The rules will be “5e-lite’, but highly house ruled as the players will be taking on the roles of their pet dogs – Omar, Sully, Suvi, Norma Jean Meatballs, and Cricket respectively. The stream will go live on Anjiali’s YouTube channel starting at 6 PM Pacific (9 PM Eastern, 2 AM London) and run for about four hours, with the VOD available after the stream.

Over on Humble Bundle, the Starfinder 2nd Edition Playtest Primer Bundle has a bit of a confusing name since there’s just the one Starfinder 2nd Edition playtest document. The rest of this bundle, however, is a great chance to fill out your Starfinder 1st Edition library with any books you may have missed out on and files for the Hero Lab character management software. The first tier includes all the playtest PDFs plus Hero Lab files for the playtest document and two Starfinder flip-mat sets. The second tier adds on Hero Lab files for the Starfinder 1e Core Rulebook, Alien Archive 1-4, and Pact Worlds plus the PDFs for all of the above and a vast collection of more flip mats. The Doctor Who Ultimate RPG Collection is precisely what it says on the tin, the ultimate collection of Doctor Who TTRPGs. Owners of 3D printers or those who have access through a local library, university, or maker space will have their project schedules filled by the Dungeons & Monsters 3 Bundle of STL files for 3D printed miniatures. MIT Press released the All About Gaming Book Bundle featuring a small library of books about the nuts-and-bolts of game design and the history of gaming. While much of the bundle focuses on video games, many of the lessons work just as well for tabletop such as the base level books Virtual Economies Design and Analysis, Rules of Play Game Design Fundamentals, and the more tabletop focused Zones of Control: Perspectives on Wargaming. The second tier adds on four more titles while the top tier jumps the collection all the way up to 26 items total including the tabletop roleplaying history books Game Wizards: The Epic Battle for Dungeons & Dragons and The Elusive Shift: How Role-Playing Games Forged Their Identity by RPG historian Jon Peterson.

When I say this bundle is huge, I mean HUGE. The base level starts out with 28 items while the second level expands that to 56, the penultimate tier to 74, and the top tier includes all the rest but also the 69 titles from the previous Classic Pathfinder Megabundle from last year for a total of ONE HUNDRED FORTY-THREE titles including adventures, campaign settings, alternate rules, classes, races, magic items, and everything else you’d expect from the most prolific of third-party Pathfinder publishers collecting over a decade of products.
